Donor is niece of George Glasscock, 1895 - 1991 of Morland Road.

Administrative:
Donor was a strict Baptist and a member of the Morland Road Baptist Church. He was brought before the Conscientious Objectors Tribunal at Croydon Town Hall and imprisoned for his beliefs in 1916. He was released in 1919 and returned to work in the family business. His death was reported in the Croydon Advertiser following his death on 01 July 1991 (copy included).
