Donated by Lambeth Archives Service in 1989 along with a bundle of correspondence relating to Upper Norwood Congregational Church (?A410). Previously given to Lambeth Archives Service by David Kenrick of Foreshaw. Transferred from the Local Studies Library (ref S70 (285.8) WES) in March 2007.

Administrative:
West Croydon Congregational Church opened in 1865 as a temporary church in Campbell Road. A permanent church opened in 1886 at the junction of London Road and Campbell Road. It closed in 1982, by which time it had become West Croydon United Reformed Church. The building was subsequently bought by the Oshwal Association of the UK and is Grade II listed.
