1) Charting the Practicum: A Journey in Probation and Social Work: PhD by Publication in Probation and Social Work, (Kingston University, 2006): Three volumes (commentary and two volumes of publications) comprising the PhD to be held on Local Studies Library shelves at S70 (360) ELL.
2) Charting the Practicum: A Journey in Probation and Social Work by Nigel Elliott for Advanced Award in Social Work 2000. Three volumes of accompanying documents and commentaries, comprising the AASW, based primarily on time spent by author as Lecturer and Senior Lecturer in Social Work, Croydon College (1989 - 1995) and Senior Practitioner, South East London Probation Service 1995 - 1999. This was conceived originally as a separate publication and was not anticipated that this would form a further award. The nature of the research and reporting means that the volumes contain confidential material. The material draws primarily on social work practice in the Borough in the 1990s and the author has provided an extensive commentary on the reasons why the portfolio should be deposited.
