Public Assistance Office: Photograph Album

Contains photographs and biographical notes of many of the staff serving in the forces. The album was originally compiled in 1944, but also contains photographs of the retirement presentation to Mr NP Walker, Public Assistance Officer, in October 1945; at a staff dinner at the Cafe Royal in June 1946. At the front of the album is a painting of the County Borough coat of arms by JE Juniper.
