Thirty three of the photographs are of the mural which was painted on the walls of the Britannia Club and depicted scenes from around Britain. Some of the photographs are duplicates.

There is one photograph of the artist Richard Hatch.

Entries record service number , name, hometown and date.The last entry is 19 September 1946.

The first page is signed by HRH Princess Alice Duchess of Gloucester and other dignitaries present at the opening ceremony.

The register was also signed by HRH Princess Marina Duchess of Kent on a later visit.

These royal visits are confirmed by two paper cuttings pasted on the inside cover of the register.

Letter from the Womens Page Editor of The Daily Mirror to the secretary of the Britannia Womens Service Club thanking her for sending photographs which they are returning. Presumably this refers to photographs of HRH Princess Marina, Duchess of Kents visit. These photographs were not part of this collection.
