Donated to West Croydon Baptist Church by Archer Spurgeon, grandson of Rev James Archer Spurgeon (first Minister of the Church, 1869 - 1899) and a member of Queens Road Baptist Church, Coventry. The material was forwarded in December 2004 via Rev Alan Betteridge, former Minister of Queens Road Baptist Church, Coventry who had been asked to sort out Mr Spurgeons family records.
