The cover of the Muster Roll is embossed in gold with the words

It records the names of those parishioners who fought in World War I together with, in many cases, regiment and dates of joining.
The Roll of Honour is at the back of the book with the cover reversed. This end is embossed in gold with the words
ROLL OF HONOUR
THE SOULS OF THE RIGHTEOUS
ARE IN THE HANDS OF THE LORD
PRO PATRIA MORI
It records the twenty two parishioners who were killed on active service in World War I.
