Addition to F/ 32Defence Plan of January1944

Follow up defence plan to that detailed in AR341/8. includes plans for immediate and secondary action, with information detailing which platoon was to guard which area in the event of an attack. on the back is attached a copy of AR341/8 and a blueprint map of the local area with positions marked.

Appreciation and Defence Plan (Extracts Only)

Details factors relating to military strength of company, including man power, ground covered, potential enemy (air born landings at Croydon aerodrome or army marching towards London). Then gives details of a defence plan, such as positions in the event of an attack, and various tasks for members of the company at plasces along their defence perimeter (Beds, Gate, farm, Sludge and Isolation). Noted that these are extracts only. Pencil notes on reverse of pages of document.

Extract F/ 32Defence Plan

Defence plan, with Plans A and B for the defence of the companies patrolled perimeter. Gives information as to where patrols are to be in a state of emergency, and how many men are to be present. Also gives information as to what weapons are at each position.

F Company History1941-Present (C. 1944)

Gives a brief account of the history of the company, from its formation in February 1941 to present (c. 1944). mentions where members of the company came from; from five companies nearby (A.G.I., Carter Paterson, Croydon Foundry, Standard Steel Co., and Metal Propellers Ltd), Beddington farm, employees of the local sewage farm and a small amount of other local residents. Also lists the type of weapons initially owned, and a list of awards won. Then goes on to a number of anecdotes describing training exercises of the company.

Consists of two copies of a document giving a brief history of the company from its formation in February 1941 onwards, including details of land patrolled and other anecdotes. Other documents give detail of training, rules on parade and how to use certain weapons. Also includes two photographs members of the company, including the winning first aid team.
