Consists of seven letters, mostly general correspondence addressed to Phyllis. Includes a typed letter from the Chief Librarian T.E. Callender to Mrs W.M. Fretwell Secretary , Old Pupils of Woodford House School requesting the return of a scrapbook. In addition there is a handwritten letter from Peggy Ashcroft, Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Stratford-on-Avon to Valerie William concerning the opening of the Ashcroft Theatre Croydon. It is undated.

Woodford House School: New Zealand

The New Zealand Woodford House School was founded on 24 February 1894 by Miss M Hodge, who had previously taught at Woodford House School , Croydon. The school was first established in Hastings (North Island, New Zealand) and moved out of the town to Havelock in 1911. It used the same colours ( carnation and grey ) as Woodford School, Croydon.
