Transferred to Cooper Road, Waddon 1954. It became a grammar school in 1961 and later a 14 - 18 Comprehensive School. From 1983 the School was occupied in part by a section of Croydon College specialising in course for 16 - 19 year olds, The School closed on 31 August 1984 when the College took over the premises entirely.
