Photograph of Civil Defence Corps Croydon Division engaged on rescue exercise. Ronald Murthwaite is on extreme left of photograph, wearing white scarfe and facing camera. The photograph was probably taken at the Albert Road Rescue Depot, next to South Norwood Sewage Farm, where ruined buildings were used for training purposes.
