Plan of Croydon by Jean Baptiste Say. The plan was drawn in 1785, when Say (aged 18) and his brother Horace were staying in Croydon, at the house of Mr Bisset in Pound Street (George Street). The town plan, and the lost plan of the wider region to which the key refers, seem to have been drawn to illustrate the visit to a correspondent at home.
